In Visualtis we collaborated actively with the GREEN IN SOFTWARE SYSTEMS AND SOFTWARE ENGINEERING (GINSENG) project in order to guarantee that our activity is friendlier with the environment.
This research project focuses on the enhancement of the technical features related to sustainability of techonologic services, offered by companies such as Visualtis and in the development of software products specifically.
The objective is to raise social awareness in general, and about the ICT sector in particular, about the impact software has on the environment.
For that, and in addition of specific training on software sustainability, we took part in several surveys in sustainability and Green IT to raise awareness about the use of sustainable resources available in techonological services and software development.
We are proud to collaborate in the improvement of environment and sustainability, and we strive to do our bit everyday.
